Juliet Short, Partner, Duncan Cotterill
Juliet is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, advising clients across a wide range of matters including business establishments and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Examples of her recent experience include acting for the shareholders of a large privately-held company on the sale of their shares and advising a leading adventure tourism operator on the acquisition of a complementary business. While working full-time, Juliet completed a Masters degree specialising in Corporate and Commercial Law with first class honours as part of which she undertook research in SME finance, corporate governance, and company meetings. Juliet has first-hand experience working in-house, having been seconded to IAG, Sealord Group Limited and to Lumley General Insurance. This experience has given me an insight into the corporate world and helps bring a practical and commercial focus to my advice.
