Kate Telford, Partner, Hesketh Henry Kate is a partner in Hesketh Henry’s Corporate and Commercial Team. She advises clients on a wide range of commercial transactions and agreements across a variety of different industry sectors, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and corporate governance advice. Kate regularly advises clients on business acquisitions, disposals, and investment transactions, bringing clarity and a common-sense approach to high value commercial decisions. In addition, Kate has extensive experience advising clients on complex and high value commercial agreements, such as joint venture and shareholder agreements, limited partnership agreements, manufacturing and distribution agreements, warehousing and logistics agreements, and licensing agreements. She also supports clients with corporate governance advice, including compliance with key legislation such as the Companies Act, Co-operative Companies Act, Fair Trading Act, Consumer Guarantees Act, Takeovers Code, Financial Markets Conduct Act and Overseas Investment Act. She is a director of Project Employ Limited, a charitable organisation helping young people with disabilities gain meaningful employment and provides ongoing pro bono legal support to that initiative.
