Charlotte Muggeridge, Partner, Harkness Henry
Charlotte has a specialised skill range across resource management, property development, easements, subdivisions, local government and unit titles. She has co-authored New Zealand’s first textbook on subdivisions (Subdivisions Law and Practice, LexisNexis, 2024). Charlotte has previously worked in local government and appears in the District Court, Environment Court and High Court on subdivision and environmental law matters. Charlotte regularly presents and publishers on subdivision issues and practice.

Jacinda Johnston, Special Counsel, Tompkins Wake
Jacinda is a Special Counsel who joined Tompkins Wake in 2015. Jacinda works predominantly in our Hamilton office but frequently works from our Tauranga and Auckland offices. Jacinda specialises in commercial property transactions and works with a wide range of commercial property clients, from developers to investors, to facilitate the disposition and acquisition of property, including due diligence and finance, as well as leasing.


Tina Hwang, Director, Queen City Law
Tina Hwang is a Director at Queen City Law and leads the firm’s Property & Disputes Team. Chad Wallace, Partner, Cooney Lees Morgan
Chad Wallace is a Partner in the Property & Development team at Cooney Lees Morgan. He advises developers, landowners, group home builders and local authorities on a broad range of property transactions, from land acquisition and due diligence through to infill housing projects and large-scale subdivisions. Chad has particular expertise in horticulture and rural property transactions, retirement village development and local government projects. With experience acting on developments ranging from simple two-lot subdivisions through to large multi-stage residential and commercial projects, Chad works alongside developers and project teams to guide projects from acquisition and consenting through to titling, pre-sales and completion.
