As schools increasingly adopt generative AI tools, they face several responsibilities and risks spanning privacy, copyright, data sovereignty, employment law, and student safety.
- Examine key legal obligations and potential liability issues as well as practical mitigation strategies that school leaders can implement immediately. A central recommendation is the development of a comprehensive Digital Strategy that not only ensures legal compliance but also positions schools to leverage digital technologies, including generative AI, strategically to advance their educational goals.
- Leave with a clear understanding of your legal duties, actionable risk management approaches, and a framework for creating a Digital Strategy that transforms legal requirements from barriers into opportunities for innovation and excellence.
