She enjoys leading her team to deliver successful projects and outcomes. Recent Projects: Residential developments including 7 stage 600 lots and 5 stage 300 lots, Redevelopment of mixed use building to enable retail to be converted to residential units and sold, Sale and purchase of commercial properties including industrial, retail and office, Leasing and property advice for a national retailer with 21 stores in New Zealand, CORT Community Housing joint venture with ACC and development programme, Development programme for NZ Living which to date has delivered 287 apartments at Otahuhu, Onehunga and Northcote and 204 under development in Tamaki and Northcote, Hotel acquisitions in Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Auckland and assisting with all legal issues for this accommodation manager with over 500 rooms under management across 13 properties nationally, NZS3910 and NZS3916 Contracts for apartments, industrial buildings
Chris Whiteley, Director, Facilities Management, Colliers
Chris leads Colliers' Facilities Management team which is comprised of 26 Facilities and Operations Managers across the country. Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the facilities industry, from being on the tools through to strategy. Chris's background has been across large-scale assets in retail, industrial and commercial properties, from business parks, to iconic shopping centres.He is actively involved in the full-scale management and operations of properties with a view to maximising the asset value by management of short and long-term strategies that amplify the potential for both the client and the tenants. Chris joined Colliers in 2022 following 6 years at Oyster Property Group, where he held the role of National Facilities Manager and prior with both Stride and Westfield for the management and opening of shopping centres. He has extensive knowledge and experience in facilities management, projects and strategic capital planning. Chris enjoys finding solutions to any facilities issues and working with all stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for clients and tenants to give the best result for the built environment.
