Vanessa Robb, Partner, Anderson Lloyd
Vanessa Robb is a Partner in the Anderson Lloyd Property and Private Client Team. She is a property specialist with expertise in personal asset management, succession planning, trust law and relationship property, particularly with high-net worth clients. Vanessa also has considerable experience in property development and re-zoning, acquisitions, subdivisions and rural property transactions. Her range of experience, practising both in New Zealand and the UK, assists her to understand different clients’ needs and the complexities of their legal matters. Vanessa is a member of the Institute of Directors, the New Zealand Property Council and is a contributor to the Lawlink Trusts and Succession planning precedent database.


Daniel Shore, Director, McCaw Lewis
Daniel believes in a strategic approach to dispute resolution and provides practical advice based on a full understanding of a client’s objectives, both from a legal and non-legal perspective. He assesses risk and works with clients to formulate strategies to best achieve the outcomes they seek. Daniel advises on a range commercial and property disputes, and also assists clients through trust, estate and relationship property disputes. He leads a group of perceptive and knowledgeable lawyers working in the dispute resolution space. Daniel studied at Copenhagen Law School and the University of Waikato and continues an association with the University of Waikato Faculty of Law (Te Piringa). Daniel is a Trustee of the McCaw Lewis Foundation, a registered charity that supports causes important to the McCaw Lewis whānau, and is a Board member of the Graeme Dingle Foundation Waikato. Daniel grew up in Hamilton and balances his work life with a number of sporting pastimes including an occasional round of golf. Daniel joined the firm in 2006 and was appointed a Director of the firm in 2013.


Charlotte Abernethy, Senior Associate, Anderson Lloyd
Charlotte Abernethy is a Senior Associate in the Anderson Lloyd Property and Private Client Team in Dunedin and works closely with Vanessa. Charlotte specialises in personal asset management, succession planning, trust law, relationship property, complex estate administration and general property matters. Charlotte is a contributor to the Lawlink Trusts and Succession planning precedent database, and recently presented at the 2023 NZLS Legal Executives Conference.
