Rowan Butler, Barrister, Mills Lane Chambers
Rowan specialises in civil and regulatory litigation. He has been a member of Bankside Chambers since 2011. Rowan has experience in a wide variety of cases, in the High Court and Court of Appeal, ranging from shareholder & property disputes; trust and estate litigation; professional negligence claims; and insurance and contract litigation. He has acted in fraud trials both as Crown and defence counsel. He also practices in the professional disciplinary and regulatory sphere, including statutory liability proceedings and inquests.

Campbell McKenzie, Director, Incident Response Solutions
Campbell is the Founder and Director of Incident Response Solutions Limited, providing forensic, cyber security and crisis management services. Campbell was previously a Director at PwC New Zealand (12 years) and led PwC's national "forensic technology" practice, and the Auckland "cyber security" practice, a combined team of 11 expert staff. Prior to PwC, Campbell was a founding member of NZ Police's Electronic Crime Laboratory (4.5 years) and as an expert witness, he specialises in electronic investigations, cybercrime incident response and eDiscovery matters. He is recognised by the District and High Courts of New Zealand as a forensic technology expert and has also been appointed as an independent expert by the High Court. Campbell understands how critical it is for law firms to mitigate the cyber risks they face. Therefore in 2020, Incident Response Solutions published the "Cyber Security Guide for NZ Law Firms", a contextual resource to assist lawyers and law firms manage their cyber security risk

Brad Cuff, Barrister, Capital Chambers
Brad was a litigation partner in an international law firm before becoming a barrister sole in 2020. Brad is a professional member of the New Zealand Law Society and New Zealand Insurance Law Association. With extensive experience in insurance litigation and advice, Brad’s professional roles have included in-house legal service for a major medical indemnity insurer, heading the legal, risk and compliance team at a major US insurer and a top tier Sydney law firm. Brad has acted for some of New Zealand's largest insurers together with Australian insurers and underwriting agencies having a thorough knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory environments. His practice covers a wide range of insurance areas and civil litigation.

Sam Comber, Senior Associate, Simpson Grierson
Sam Comber is a senior associate in Simpson Grierson’s commercial litigation team. He has more than ten years’ experience acting in large and complex commercial litigation matters with a particular focus on consumer credit and financial markets law, regulatory matters and breach of contract and tort. Sam has represented clients in relation to numerous investigations and civil and criminal proceedings involving the Commerce Commission and Financial Markets Authority. He regularly advises a broad range of clients on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters, including disputes under the Fair Trading Act, Commerce Act, financial markets legislation and consumer credit legislation. In addition to court proceedings, Sam also regularly acts for parties in resolving complex and high value disputes through arbitration, mediation, adjudication, expert determination, and other dispute resolution forums.
